Le Dome - Paris
Le Dome. Ink on Canvas. 11" x 17". The Palais de Tokyo is a building on the Seine that houses modern and contemporary art and is well recognised as one of the world landmarks for skateboarding. Better known among skaters as 'Le Dome', you can see this square in most any legendary skate video and it has been a venue for events like the ES Game of Skate or the Go Skateboarding Day in Paris. The highlight of this place is the 3 flat 3 double set, the huge hubba with 16 steps and the smooth floor, although today it's pretty damaged. Skaters who have honed this square are Flo Marfaing, Stephane Larance, Frank Barattiero, Luy Pa Sin, Vassilli Ritter and Jacque Bethlon among many others. Part of an on-going series titled "Boarding Pass". "Boarding Pass" is a series of Posters celebrating some of Skateboarding's most iconic, beloved, and amazing skate spots, world wide.
